Colorado Aromatics is Sagescript Institute’s own line of skin care products, designed with the Coloradan in mind. We live in a state with many natural wonders and our interest is in protecting these wonders including Colorado’s farmland. Our products begin with the herbs we grow, making our products antioxidant rich. We strive towards sustainable agricultural practices on our farm and do not use pesticides or herbicides on our crops. Many of the oils used in our products are also organic. These are natural products using safe and effective ingredients that you can trust. We also use safe preservatives to protect you from bacteria and fungus and we do microbiology testing so we can assure a safe product for you. We want you to enjoy our products without having to risk your health to do so.

Colorado’s climate is very dry and with elevations ranging from 3350 to 14,440 feet we need protection from the sun. Our products are richly moisturizing and contain ingredients that can help protect the skin from sun damage. You don’t have to live in Colorado though to reap the benefits of these superior products. Aromatic Waters or Hydrosols(contact me for types and availability). Available in a 1 or 2 ounce spray bottle. Many people are finding the benefits of these herbal waters, also called distallates, hydrolats or hydrosols. Use as a body mist to soothe the skin, on the face and neck as a toner, or spray into your hair before brushing. Also take them on a plane for hydration. Their natural acidic pH makes them pH balanced for skin and hair. All are distilled on our farm from herbs we grow. Larger (wholesale) volumes are also available. Foot Bath. Contains a mixture of healing herbs to promote relaxation, decrease anxiety, and help prevent odors and infections. Try a footbath now and see how relaxing it is. Recommended to soak while drinking Relaxation Tea. Most of these herbs are grown on our farm.  $4.35/2 large bags.
Green Tea Healing Herbal Bath Green tea has been shown to have anti-cancer properties and contains flavonoids which are powerful antioxidants. Also contains lemon balm for healing and relaxation. Body/Massage Oil. This is a finishing oil that is best applied immediately following a bath or shower to lock in moisture. It is also makes a good massage oil. Hand made soaps All soaps are made from luxurious vegetable oils and herbs to leave your skin feeling moisturized, nourished and soft. Mild enough for use on the face. They contain at least 55% organic oils. The picture shows from the front; Calendula/oatmeal, Rose Geranium, Chocolate Orange and Lavender Shea. Not shown are rosemary/mint and beer soaps. Our bars are large, ranging between 4 - 5 ounces and are hard bars that won't melt right away and provide a good lather.  $5.10 each
Lavender Shea - Contains shea butter for healing and real lavender buds and lavender essential oil. Relaxing, restorative, try it for anxiety and eczema.
Rose Geranium Shea - with shea butter for healing, ground rose hips for exfoliation and rose geranium essential oil for emotional balance, nervous fatigue. A good scent for women.
Calendula/Oatmeal Shea - unscented and very gentle on the skin, contains shea butter for healing, ground oatmeal and calendula flowers, try it for rashes and skin conditions such as eczema and acne.
Chocolate Soap (everyone needs a chocolate kiss!) - a delicious scent of chocolate with a hint of orange, contains real cocoa powder and cocoa butter. They even look like chocolate bars, but don't eat it, use it on your skin and you will be pleased. Chocolate contains polyphenols that are antioxidants.
Rosemary Mint Soap with shea butter, rosemary/mint tea, green clay, ground herbs and essential oils. A nice refreshing soap.
I Like Beer Soap made with a craft milk stout beer, has a scent of fresh beer (not a stale barroom!) Makes a great gift for those difficult to buy for.
Aromatherapy Room or Linen Sprays. Choose from three essential oil blends, $7.50 each:
Stress Buster - use as a room spray at work or at home to decrease stress; also nice as a linen spray. Contains lavender and other essential oils. 2 oz spray bottle $7.50.
St. Blaise - don't spread germs around when you are sick, spray them with this antiseptic spray instead, use around the house and on surfaces (light switches/doorknobs) when someone is not feeling their best. Contains thyme and other essential oils that have been found to be disinfectant.
Aristotle - for mental acuity and concentration, keep focused while working or studying, great for at the computer and for students.
Health/Wellness Products
Thyma-Flu. This herb blend is great for winter health. It contains elderberry and echinacea as well as other herbs to help reduce cold and flu symptoms and support your immune system. When you receive this product, fill the jar with drinking alcohol of your choice;  vodka, brandy, or rum. Let it steep for two weeks to allow the herbs to release their healing components into the alcohol. You can then either strain the herbs out, or store it with the herbs remaining. At the first sign of a cold or flu take two teaspoonfuls of the alcohol twice daily until the cold is gone.  I call this product  Thyma-flu (a play on Tamiflu, the antiviral prescription that causes side effects including nausea, vomiting, bronchitis and insomnia)! Some medical studies have found that elderberry has activity against the flu virus. It doesn't taste good, but it works. Add honey if you like to improve taste. Dream Pillows A blend of relaxing herbs including lavender and chamomile, to promote sleep and dreams. Place inside your pillow case, goodnight. Two large tea bags $4.35.
